I can’t think of a better blog post to celebrate International Women’s Day 💄
After replying to a post on Facebook last month, I had no idea what fun would be involved in embracing my role as a blogger and blogging about other people’s products.
Kristina Thomas is a lovely lady and I’m so happy that I agreed to test out her products.
Kristina’s business goes by the name of Kristina Thomson Beauty and her tagline is “Feel Fabulous with me”
I was so excited when I received her products. It was half term so I was extremely busy with my children and wanted to do a good job of testing. As soon as my eldest returned to school, I was on to testing her amazing products!
Despite a few minor health issues that tried to get in the way, I managed to complete the task of testing and had so much fun in doing so 🤣
I decided to test LIVE using Facebook and then blog back here once I had tested all the products.
Kristina generously sent me;
X2 eyeshadow samples
X2 tinted moisturisers
A lipstick sample
A primer sample
An eye base sample
An eye base & lip applicator
Before the samples were sent out, I was requested by Kristina to send a close up picture of my face to enable her to match products to my skin tone. It was really cleverly done.
The products are from the Colour Me Beautiful At Home Cosmetics Collection. This company is over 30 years old! Products are cruelty free and the company are branching out into networking so feel free to contact Kristina if you are interested in this opportunity ✅ Her details can be found above in the cover photo which is her business card.
Right… here’s what I thought about the make up 🤔
I absolutely loved it! I’m not really a makeup wearing woman. I just use the odd lipstick or gloss but have worn more in the past especially when I was competitively dancing.
I found the products really light which I loved. I didn’t feel like they were heavy on my skin at all. Extremely easy to apply and a little went a very long way, especially the lipstick which had to be my favourite! The colour was mahogany and it was beautiful 💋
The eyeshadows were subtle and didn’t make me look like I had a black eye 🤣 I had shades of purple and they looked great on my skin.
Instead of foundations, I tested tinted moisturisers as Kristina said the moisturisers were better suited to darker skin tones.
The advice I had from Kristina was amazing and I enjoyed testing the eye base as it’s a product I don’t really wear. It did make a difference to the eye colours. Making them stand out more.
Have fun watching my videos of me testing these products below 👇🏾👇🏾
